In the movie The Day After Tomorrow, the North Atlantic Current essentially shuts down, which prevents warm equatorial waters from reaching Northern Europe and Northeast United States. The result is an immediate climate shift into an Ice Age. For dramatic cinematic effect the Ice Age unfolds rapidly with a massive storm. Indeed, there is evidence that some Ice Ages in history did occur nearly overnight due to cataclysmic events like the oceans conveyor belts grinding to a halt — animals and cavemen were frozen nearly in an instant.
On August 29th, Lord Stirling issued a scary report warning that, “The North Atlantic Current is Gone.” We were hesitant to post the article before checking with sources to confirm its validity. After such research, many of the claims that Lord Stirling makes do indeed have some scientific evidence. However, his claims that the North Atlantic Current is “gone,” and that the cause is primarily the Gulf oil disaster and subsequent dispersant spraying, are slightly premature. Despite these assumptions, Stirling’s report has enough supporting evidence to cause alarm:
The NutriMedical Report and LiveStream.com/TheNutriMedicalReportShow updates, final proof was provided that the Gulf Stream had been stopped cold at the 47th longitudinal parallel with a 10 degree Celsius ocean temperature drop, and loss of velocity and energy, so that the Gulf Stream was only able to be measured by satellite to less than one-third the way across the Atlantic ocean.
As Dr. Zangari stated, this is not the butterfly effect but the “elephant effect;” and with the amount of oil released, the natural system (the pacemaker of world climate for millions of years) was now gone, replaced by an artificial system, that has caused the Gulf of Mexico to be seven degrees Celsius above normal by late July. Additionally, this has totally disconnected the Loop Current from the Florida current which becomes the Gulf Stream.
In his report on June 12th, 2010 in a journal article, the CCAR Colorado data agreed with the NOAA and US Naval Satellites data:
This live satellite data map later altered on the CCAR servers, and he emailed that this was ‘to falsify’ and he could not explain this fact logically. He returned to NOAA and US Naval data on the same and later dates and stated by early August that the CCAR data was no longer reliable and his conclusions was not changed in quality or quantity of the serious consequences. His conclusion that ‘glaciation’ at an unknown pace was inevitable from this disaster.
Who among us can remember back, oh so long ago, when Hurricane Earl was a Category 4, just one degree shy of the Katrina’s astonishing destruction of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast States of Mississippi and Alabama?
Those of us on the East Coast were assured that Earl would smash into North Carolina’s the barrier islands, dash up toward Newark, New Jersey, and then onward to Nantucket and pretty much anywhere else Earl wanted to go. The predictions were ominous.
I live in New Jersey and it is late afternoon on Friday as this is being written. Not a drop of rain in sight. No doubt some will arrive later tonight, but Earl has veered out into the Atlantic and is just barely holding on to a Category 1 status.
How many hours did Fox News, the Weather Channel, and all the others devote to sensational satellite pictures of the Mighty Earl until, over the hours, it became apparent that those intrepid reporters waiting for it to come ashore were reduced to interviewing disgruntled surfers unhappy that they could not commit suicide in Earl’s surging waves?
This is what I keep telling people over and over again. The weather is the perfect definition of chaos. It will do what it wants to do and not what the geniuses sweating over “computer models” say it will do.
We humans in our suburbs and great cities are like tiny insects in its path. People that keep telling you that humans are altering the climate are lying to you.
That’s why we have to ask ourselves, if the meteorologists cannot predict what a Category 4 hurricane will do with more than a wisp of certainty, why should anyone listen to those charlatans who insist they know what the weather will be in five, ten, twenty or fifty years?
I’m not talking about legitimate climatologists who study trends over centuries, but the one’s that insist on transforming the economy and society out of their conceit that they know that “global warming” is coming and it’s going to be bad.
It’s not coming; the Earth has been cooling for the past decade. It is a perfectly natural and well-known cycle. It could stick around a few years. Or it could mutate into the next Ice Age.
Today my local daily newspaper had an editorial about global warming and why the skeptics are wrong. That is a level of denial and flat-out ignorance that defies reality.
The reality is that the most sophisticated weather forecasting computer models, along with weather satellites, did not know with any certainty what Hurricane Earl was going to do or go. It largely spared the East Coast and piddled off into the Atlantic. News at eleven.
I am glad the radio and television meteorologists tried to warn us and I am glad that the hurricane turned out to be far less destructive than anticipated, but I know they had no more idea than I what would occur.
The latest satellite data establishes that the North Atlantic Current (also called the North Atlantic Drift) no longer exists and along with it the Norway Current. These two warm water currents are actually part of the same system that has several names depending on where in the Atlantic Ocean it is. The entire system is a key part of the planet’s heat regulatory system; it is what keeps Ireland and the United Kingdom mostly ice free and the Scandinavia countries from being too cold; it is what keeps the entire world from another Ice Age. This Thermohaline Circulation System is now dead in places and dying in others.
This ‘river’ of warm water that moves through the Atlantic Ocean is called, in various places, the South Atlantic Current, the North Brazil Current, the Caribbean Current, the Yucatan Current, the Loop Current, the Florida Current, the Gulf Stream, the North Atlantic Current (or North Atlantic Drift) and the Norway Current.
The thermohaline circulation is sometimes called the ocean conveyor belt, the great ocean conveyor, or the global conveyor belt.
It is a university level physics experiment to use a tub of cool water and inject a colored stream of warm water into it. You can see the boundary layers of the warm water stream. If you add oil to the tub it breaks down the boundary layers of the warm water stream and effectively destroys the current vorticity . This is what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Atlantic Ocean.
The entire ‘river of warm water’ that flows from the Caribbean to the edges of Western Europe is dying due to the Corexit that the Obama Administration allowed BP to use to hide the scale of the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Disaster. The approximately two million gallons of Corexit, plus several million gallons of other dispersants, have caused the over two hundred million gallons of crude oil, that has gushed for months from the BP wellhead and nearby sites, to mostly sink to the bottom of the ocean. This has helped to effectively hide much of the oil, with the hopes that BP can seriously reduce the mandated federal fines from the oil disaster. However, there is no current way to effectively ‘clean up’ the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, which is about half covered in crude oil.
America we have not seen hell on earth like it will be if we cannot get the Tansocean BP oil cleaned up before the first hurricane hits the gulf this year. God, I pray we have a clean season and do not even suffer a tropical storm. But that is unlikely. The coast line simply could not manage oil offshore and inland for miles in both directions. A simple tropical storm could devastate the Gulf coast for years to come, and hurricane possibly for decades.
A tropical wave swirling in the Atlantic Ocean near the equator has a chance of growing into this year’s first tropical storm but the disturbance is becoming less organized. SOURCE : tbo.com.
If the oil from a storm surge gets washed inland it could coat everything with an ooze like nothing anyone has ever experienced in America before. A toxic film that would last until it either is scrubbed off or burned out. Long term devastation on a huge scale.
Good luck America! We are going to need all we can get to survive the Obama administration and its lake of an oil spill clean up response.
No matter what happens though, I bet one thing is for sure. This is a crisis and the Progressives will not let it go to waste. Welcome the American Power Act, AKA “Cap and Trade” bill.
The Louisiana Governor didn’t exactly put it that way, but that’s what he’s saying. Bobby Jindal is becoming increasingly peeved at the Obama administration’s response to the oil spill — particularly the drilling moratorium that is stepping on the oxygen hose of an economy that is already on life support.
Jindal says there’s “not a real understanding the way this [oil] industry works” in the Obama administration.
If only we still had a couple of evil — although at least experienced in the industry — oilmen in the White House. But they were gladly traded in so America could upgrade to Hope & Change, which is a much lower viscosity.
Also check out Charlotte Randolf, President of Lafourche Parish LA, who says she was “used” by Obama.
The other day I heard somebody (I can’t remember who) put Obama’s drilling moratorium this way: It’s like cancelling all trans-Atlantic crossings because the Titanic didn’t see an iceberg.
I have been following the Crime Inc story since Glenn Beck broke it in April. I am the guy that found the Joel Rogers video where he claims we can stop the economy and it would not change a thing. I had to document that fact here. I just hope it helps stop the Crap and Trade bill. I have found that I am not alone in this quest to stop the theft of liberty from my generation and all future generations.
The following people I will mention have been giving no less than 8 hours a day to the effort. And I am sure this is on top of the 8 hours they already have to work to pay the bills. I too put in any where form 6 to 18 hours daily digging for the connections. Most of my time is spent listening to audio tracks and videos form leftist tools like Bill Ayres, Cynthia McKinney and even Andy Stern. Anything I can find from the late 70s and early 80s particularly. Not much there but 1 or 2 gems so far. Anyway I was not this person until this past election. It is best stated in the letter below who I am and How I got here.
You could say I have been FUNDAMENTALLY changed into an activist for the Constitution. God knows our current administration is a clear and present danger to our constitution and needs to be exposed indicted and imprisoned for using the constitution as toilet paper.
The other people that have taken this thing apart is JoAnne Mor. She has probably done more homework than Glenn Becks whole staff has done. Kudos JoAnne!
Another person that deserves recognition at least from me is Trevor Louden. Trevor has been all over the Obama Radicals since before the election
Canada Free Press has been all over this story and has done a remarkable job uncovering the truth also.
But this story is a culmination of many of the gatherd facts from us all.
The story below, it is from patriotsheart.us and it is a MUST read.
I could list many more patriots but I want to get to the nuts of this story so here ya go!
Dear Elected Official,
I am an average everyday American. Until this past election cycle, I was not very political. I am now an awake and aware American. Please take the time to read the information I am sending to you. I know it is extensive, but the continued existence of our free country, The United State of America, is at stake and I believe this with every fiber of my being. There is fear in the pit of my belly all of the time, fear that we are loosing America, and I do not mean “as we know it.”

I about fell out of my chair when Obama approved some offshore drilling, I was waiting for the other shoe to fall.
Wherever you stand on this issue, please take the time to read this; it should wake you from your careless slumber on this important truth.
We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an “immigration overpopulation” conference in Washington,DC , filled to capacity by many of America’s finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, “Mexifornia,” explaining how immigration – both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.
Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America.
The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, “If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let’s destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that ‘An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”
“Here is how they do it,” Lamm said:
” First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multilingual and bi-cultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset , put it this way: ‘The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.’ Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans and Muslims.”
Lamm went on:
” Second, to destroy America , invent ‘multiculturalism’ and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.”
” Third, we could make the United States an ‘HispanicQuebec’ without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: ‘The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrcity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.’ Lamm said, “I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture.
Lyndon B. Johnson said he knew the war in Vietnam was over when news anchor, Walter Cronkite, reporting from there said we were losing. On Sunday, Maureen Dowd of The New York Times lit into Barack Obama for his failure to react to the oil spill disaster in the Gulf.
“Too often it feels as though Barry is watching from a balcony, reluctant to enter the fray until the clamor of the crowd forces him to come down. The pattern is perverse,” said Dowd, adding, “The wound-tight, travel-light Obama has a distaste for the adversarial and the random.”
Lynn Cheney, the daughter of the former Vice President, speaking as part of a Sunday Fox News panel, put her finger on the problem, noting that Obama seems to believe that merely saying something is the same as doing something.
The coup de grace was delivered by Peggy Noonan in The Wall Street Journal, writing “The president, in my view, continues to govern in a way that suggests he is chronically detached from the central and immediate concerns of his countrymen.”
When the adoring mainstream media begins to back away and the base of Obama’s popularity—-what’s left of it—youth, blacks, Hispanics, enviromaniacs and the Democrat Party’s far Left have second thoughts, you have a presidency in deep trouble, but one that still has just over 960 days to serve in office.
This is a President whose political endorsement has increasingly become the kiss of death at the polls.
The news is filled with commentary about the spill being Obama’s “Katrina”, comparing him to former President Bush’s response to the category five hurricane that hit New Orleans in 2005. One can only wonder what will happen when the 2010 hurricane season begins to display once more the power of Nature over man.
This year’s hurricane season is widely predicted to be one of the worst in recent years. Accuweather’s expert, Joe Bastardi, predicts that “The 2010 Atlantic hurricane season may rival some of the worst in history with meteorological conditions mirroring the 2005 season.” He is predicting a total of 16 to 18 named storms that could last into the month of October.
Presidents don’t get to pick and choose the events that shape their term in office. They are elected to manage those events with the resources of the nation and Obama is proving to be so poor in this essential skill-set that confidence is sinking like a tar ball to the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.
It did not go unnoticed that, after 309 days of no press conferences, the one he held to staunch the bleeding was remarkably lame for a man who gained and entered the Oval Office on the basis of his oratory.
It lasted an excruciating hour, the first fifteen or so minutes of which was taken up by a prepared statement. Unless reading from a TelePrompter, Obama’s halting, word-by-carefully-selected-word, pause-by-pause response without technological aid is painful listening.
I ran across this article by Chip Wood and thought it was very appropriate for the week of Thanksgiving. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this Thursday be reminded of how this country was started and all of those that have fought to keep our freedom. Many have given their lives to protect this country. Are we willing to sacrifice those freedoms in favor of government control, heading for socialism? It didn’t work once, it won’t work again. The lesson learned so many years ago should not be forgotten. When the government takes away a persons right to keep what they earn they also take away the motivation and determination to better oneself. Why put in the extra work to have it taken away and given to those who do not work, or work as hard? Instead of success, everyone fails. This Thanksgiving think about what we were and what we have become…what road do we really want to travel.
The following article was written by Chip Wood:
Thanksgiving
Did you know that our Pilgrim forefathers tried communism when they first landed at Plymouth Rock?
How’s that for a dramatic beginning to a story? Years ago, when I used to give a lot of talks to high school classes, this was one of my favorites. It always got the students’ attention. And I have to admit, I also enjoyed seeing some liberal teachers get so upset with me they almost lost their lunches.
Here’s the story I told those students in those long-ago presentations.
The Pilgrims who arrived at Plymouth Rock in 1620 were incredibly brave and hardy souls. They were motivated by the noblest of virtues. They vowed, each and every one, to be as selfless as possible—to always put the needs of the group first. They agreed to own everything in common and to share everything equally.
And their naïve piety almost killed the entire colony.
We all know how the adventure begins. A group of devout Christians, seeking religious freedom for themselves and eager to “advance the Gospel of the Kingdom of Christ” in the New World, sets sail from Plymouth, England in 1620. An investment consortium known as the Merchant Adventurers of London paid the expenses for the trip, including chartering the Mayflower and its 40-man crew.
The deal was simple: The Pilgrims agreed to establish a colony in northern Virginia where they would plant crops, fish the waters and hunt in the forests. They would return a certain percentage of each year’s bounty to London until their debt had been repaid.
Things went wrong from the start. First, the syndicate changed the deal, drastically reducing the amount they would loan the Pilgrims. The brave adventurers were forced to sell many of their own possessions, and much of their provisions, to pay for the trip. As a result, they landed in the New World badly short of supplies.
Next, the small ship they had purchased in Holland, which was to accompany them to America so they could fish the waters off the coast, had to be abandoned in England.
Shortly after they set sail, the ship, badly misnamed the Speedwell, became “open and leakie as a sieve,” as its captain reported.
