Did The Bible Predict 9/11? Must We Forgive?

NEW YORK CITY (9/9/13) The surprise attacks on September 11, 2001 spawned many questions, debates, theories and ‘what ifs’ from a bewildered America. These questions can be answered by one source that we have always had.

God knows everything present, past, and what is to be. He shows us what is to happen while demonstrating that He is in control.  That includes 9/11. And He knows, to our shame, that we will depart from him.

Deuteronomy 28:43 states: “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.”

Why? The Bible answers in verse 47: “Because thou servest NOT the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;  Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth (airplanes used in attack); A nation whose tongue (Arabic language) thou shalt not understand; a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young.” (Notice how terrorists attack what they call, “soft targets,’ which means unarmed civilians, hospitals=the old and schools=the young.)

Verse 52: And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down (World Trades Building), wherein thou trustedst (America’s wealth was within those towers); and he shall besiege thee in thy gates throughout all the land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.”

We seem to have forgotten that it was God’s Divine Blessings that made this country great. Our Founding Fathers looked to God for guidance and were not ashamed to call His name.

Lamentations 3:22 assures us “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning.”

God’s Word goes even further in verse 60: “Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me (America).”

We have, in this modern age, locked God out of our lives. Much of society has forsaken knowledge and recognition of ‘good and evil.’ Man continually evades accepting personal responsibility for what they do or do not do. When the higher moral code of God is hidden away and is denied as having any power over us, then ‘evil will be done in the name of our enemies.’

There are many who say, “I don’t believe in the Bible.” The Bible stands alone whether anyone believes it is true or not—for its wisdom and truth are not man-made, nor does God and His Word change just because man chooses to believe differently.

What can we do? God states clearly in 1 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; THEN will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.”  (All italics and highlights mine.)

God is NOT causing our problems. We are.

Must We Forgive?  This is the tough part. God says we must have inward Divine love even in the midst of a fierce battle.

Winning the Peace

by Daniel Greenfield on Monday, August 12th, 2013

This is article 1019 of 1247 in the topic International

In our modern age, things no longer exist to perform their function. Washing machines aren’t designed to clean clothes, but to save water and energy. Food isn’t there to be eaten, but not eaten. And armies aren’t there to win wars, but to be moral. And the truly moral army never fights a war. When it must fight a war, then it fights it as proportionately as possible, slowing down when it’s winning so that the enemy has a chance to catch up and inflict a completely proportional number of casualties on them.

Forget charging up a hill. Armies charge up the slippery slope of the moral high ground and they don’t try to capture it from the enemy, because that would be the surest way to lose the moral high ground, instead they claim the moral high ground by refusing to try and capture it, to establish their moral claim to the moral high ground, which they can’t have because they refuse to fight for it.

Israel has been engaged in a long drawn out struggle for the moral high ground. The moral high ground is to the modern Israel what the land of Israel was to their pioneer ancestors who drained swamps, built roads and shot bandits; some of whom were later discovered to be the oppressed peoples of the region, fresh from Syria or Jordan, and protesting the settlements built on that stretch of swamp that had been set aside in their revisionist history as belonging to their great-grandparents, complete with oversized house keys to some of the choicer logs in the swamp.

Sadly the only way to win the moral high ground is by losing. Just look at the massive Arab armies who repeatedly invaded Israel, did their best to overwhelm it with the best Soviet iron that the frozen factories of the Ural could turn out, and lost the bid to drive the Jews into the sea, but won the moral high ground. Then their terrorist catspaws spent decades winning the moral high ground by hijacking airplanes full of civilians, murdering Olympic athletes and pushing old men in wheelchairs from the decks of cruise ships.

All these killing sprees accomplished absolutely nothing useful, aside from the killing of Jews, which to a certain sort of mind is a useful thing in and of itself, but that failure won the terrorist catspaws the moral high ground. Their failure to win a war by hijacking buses full of women and taking the children of a school hostage conclusively established their moral superiority and nobility of spirit.

The world was deeply moved when Arafat waddled up to the UN podium, with his gun, wearing a mismatched cotton rag on his head that would decades hence become the modish apparel of every third hipster standing in line with a can of 20 dollar fair trade Lima beans at Whole Foods, because his commitment to killing people in a failed cause that even he didn’t believe in exchange for money from his backers in the Muslim world showed his deep commitment to the moral high ground.

In the seventies, after Israel had ton a few too many wars, Henry “Woodcutter” Kissinger, suggested that it lose a war to gain the sympathy of the world.

Hillary has left the building

by Josh Rogin on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013

More than 1,000 State Department employees gathered in the main lobby of the department’s Truman Building headquarters Friday afternoon to hear Hillary Clinton deliver her last remarks as secretary of state before she walked out the front door and left Foggy Bottom — perhaps — forever.

Deputy Secretary of State William Burns introduced Clinton as she stood along with Deputy Secretary of State Tom Nides and Under Secretary for Management Patrick Kennedy on the mezzanine overlooking the building’s C Street Entrance.

“Madam Secretary, four years ago I stood on the same spot and had the honor of introducing you to the men and women of the Department of State. From that first day on, you’ve touched the lives of millions of people around the world, you’ve left a profoundly positive mark on foreign policy, and you’ve done enormous good for all of us and for the country we serve,” Burns said. “We will miss you deeply.”

“I cannot fully express how grateful I am to those with whom I’ve spent many hours here in Washington, around the world, and in airplanes,” Clinton said. “But I’m proud of the work we’ve done to elevate diplomacy and development, to serve the nation we all love, to understand the challenges, threats, and opportunities the United States faces, and to work with all our heart and all of our might to make sure American is secure, that our interests are promoted, and our values are respected.”

Clinton also mentioned Friday’s terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, where a suicide bomber detonated a vest laden with explosives at an outer barrier checkpoint, killing himself and one Turkish national who was guarding the embassy. Another embassy guard was seriously wounded.

Clinton said she spoke with U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Frank Ricciardone and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davotoglu today.

“I told them how much we valued their commitment and their sacrifice,” Clinton said. “I know the world we are trying to help bring into being in the 21st century will have many difficult days, but I am more optimistic today than when I stood here four years ago.”

Clinton promised to be an advocate from the outside promoting diplomacy and development and said her last week of saying goodbye had been bittersweet.

“I am very proud to have been secretary of state. I will miss you. I will probably be dialing [the State Department operations center] just to talk,” she said. “Next week, I would expect that all of you would be as focused and dedicated to Secretary Kerry as you were for me.”

In a goodbye e-mail to State Department employees, Clinton said she would miss several things about the State Department, including State’s penchant for using acronyms for everything.

“In fact, I created a few of my own,” she wrote. “NY/WJC and NY/CVC – who I used to simply call Bill and Chelsea – are my newest advisors.  Instead of S, now I’ll just be HRC.  I’m also thinking of turning my Chappaqua house into a SCIF, but I will not/not check my new iPad at the door.”

In the crowd, State Department employees cheered for Clinton and snapped as many final photos of her as they could.

Are we setting ourselves up for another 9/11?

by American Grams on Thursday, July 19th, 2012

This is article 70 of 129 in the topic National Security

After the 9/11 attacks, the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA were supposed to work to prevent future attacks in the United States. So how do 25 illegal aliens obtain flight training?

From Infowars:

“According to the GOA, the TSA approved flight instruction for more than two dozen illegal aliens at a flight school in Boston owned by an illegal alien.

Eight of the students entered the United States illegally and seventeen had overstayed their allotted time in the country.

Remarkably, six of the illegal aliens were able to obtain pilot licenses.
[...]

“Isn’t it true that, based on your report, the Transportation Security Administration cannot assure the American people that foreign terrorists are not in this country learning how to fly airplanes, yes or no?” Rogers asked the GAO’s director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues, Stephen Lord.
“At this time, no,” Lord answered.

While you were getting groped at the airport, the TSA approved flight training for 25 illegal aliens

Bonus points: The flight school was also owned by an illegal alien.

From CNS News:

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved flight training for 25 illegal aliens at a Boston-area flight school that was owned by yet another illegal alien, according to the Government Accountability Office.

The illegal-alien flight-school attendees included eight who had entered the country illegally and 17 who had overstayed their allowed period of admission into the United States, according to an audit by the GAO.

Six of the illegal aliens were actually able to get pilot’s licenses.

Discovery of the trouble at the flight school began when local police–not federal authorities–pulled over the owner of the school on a traffic violation and were able to determine that he was an illegal alien.
[...]
Stephen Lord, who is the GAO’s director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues, testified about the matter Wednesday in Rogers’ subcommittee. Rogers asked him: “Isn’t it true that, based on your report, the Transportation Security Administration cannot assure the American people that foreign terrorists are not in this country learning how to fly airplanes, yes or no?”

Lord responded: “At this time, no.”

CNS notes that the TSA’s program for foreign flight students does not check for immigration status. Well that’s stupid… how else is the administration supposed to know who needs a waiver?

Additionally:

The GAO’s Stephen Lord, in his prepared remarks, told lawmakers that the TSA does not screen new and existing FAA pilot license holders against the Terrorist Screening Database until after the foreign national has completed flight training.

“Thus, foreign nationals obtaining flight training with the intent to do harm, such as three of the pilots and leaders of the September 11 terrorist attacks, could have already obtained the training needed to operate an aircraft before they received any type of vetting,” warned the GAO.

Did Bible Predict 9-11 Attacks? Rev. Austin Miles Says Yes

by Rev. Austin Miles on Friday, September 9th, 2011

This is article 47 of 242 in the topic Religion

Psalm 57 says: “Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; for my soul trusteth in thee; yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. I will cry unto God most high unto God that performeth all things for me. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.”

This protection is for those who follow Him actively by paying Him honor and by living according to His precepts and obeying His Word.

The Bible is our roadmap for life. In it we receive instructions for the righteousness that is pleasing to God. We are taught how to be victorious in times of seeming defeat, how to become a better person, which we should all strive to be, and how to have peace in a chaotic world of violence. And God’s Word, if carefully studied, will prepare us for unexpected things coming in the future, known as, prophecies, so that we can look to Him and triumph.

God knows everything, present, past and what is to be. EVERYTHING. And He saw and communicated through His Word that the 9-11 attacks would happen. He described it in The Bible showing He knows all that will happen and shows us that He is in control, to comfort us.  AND He knows (sadly) that we will depart from Him. And America has done just that to her peril.

It is all there. Open your Bible and read along with me. All highlights and italics below are mine to emphasize certain points.

Deuteronomy 28:43 says; “The stranger (unknown people) that is within thee shall get up above thee very high (hijacked airplanes); and thou (you) shalt come down very low.” (everything leveled by the bombings)

And why? The Scriptures answer that in vs. 47: “Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, (grumbling service) for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee from afar (Middle East), from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; A nation whose tongue (language) thou shalt not understand (Arabic); a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young.”

Notice how the terrorists attack what they call, ‘soft targets,’ which means unarmed civilians, hospitals, nursing homes—the old, schools—the young.

Vs. 52. And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down (World Trade Buildings), wherein thou trustedst; (our money and security was there) and he shall besiege thee in thy gates throughout all the land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.” (Americans imprisoned in their own country not knowing where the Muslims will next strike.)

We seem to have forgotten that it was God’s Divine Blessings that made this country great. Our Founding Fathers looked to God for guidance and were not ashamed to call His name.

Alexis DeToqueville, astonished at the great success and power that America had achieved in so short a time, came over to see for himself why this young country worked so well.

More bad economic reports

by John Lott on Thursday, August 4th, 2011

This is article 189 of 391 in the topic economy

Even the New York Times can’t get around listing the bad economic reports, though this is described as “weak economic growth.”

Service businesses like restaurants, hotels and financial companies experienced their weakest growth in 17 months in July, a new report said Wednesday. . . .

The trade group of purchasing executives said its index for services companies fell to 52.7, from 53.3 in June. Any reading above 50 indicates expansion.

The I.S.M. index covers 90 percent of the work force. It reached a five-year high of 59.7 in February, but has fallen since then. The July reading was the lowest since February 2010. . . .

Separately, the Commerce Department reported that businesses cut orders for airplanes, autos and heavy machinery in June. Factory orders dropped 0.8 percent, the second decline in three months.

Demand for durable goods fell 1.9 percent in June. Durable goods are products that are expected to last at least three years. . . .

Consumer spending, which drives 70 percent of economic activity, fell in June for the first time since September 2009.

And manufacturers recorded their weakest growth in two years in July, according to the separate I.S.M. manufacturing index that was released Monday.

As the economy has slumped, so has hiring. Employers added only 18,000 jobs in June, the fewest in nine months. The unemployment rate rose to 9.2 percent, the highest level this year. . . .

Libyan War cost at least $600 million in First Week

by John Lott on Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

This is article 102 of 526 in the topic Government Spending

Obama has been avoiding discussing the exact cost of the war. He mentioned the word “cost” multiple times in his speech on Monday, but there were no specifics. Here is an estimate of the costs from ABC News.

One week after an international military coalition intervened in Libya, the cost to U.S. taxpayers has reached at least $600 million, according figures provided by the Pentagon.
U.S. ships and submarines in the Mediterranean have launched at least 191 Tomahawk cruise missiles from their arsenals, costing $268.8 million, the Pentagon said.
U.S. warplanes have dropped 455 precision guided bombs, costing tens of thousands of dollars each.
A downed Air Force F-15E fighter jet will cost more than $60 million to replace.
And operation of ships and aircraft, guzzling ever-more-expensive fuel to maintain their positions off the Libyan coast and in the skies above, could reach millions of dollars a week, experts say.
“Each sortie, even if it drops no munitions, is very pricey,” said Winslow Wheeler of the Center for Defense Information. “These airplanes cost us tens of thousands of dollars to operate per hour, and the fancier you get in terms of planes, the costs get truly astounding.”
The three B-2 stealth bombers that flew from Missouri to Libya and back on an early bombing mission each cost an estimated $10,000 per hour to fly, a defense official said. . .

Former FBI Chief Ted Gunderson Speaks out against Chemtrails

Quantcast

Former FBI Chief, Ted L. Gunderson, makes a statement regarding the chemtrail “death dumps”, otherwise know as air crap, on January 12, 2011. Ted says the following:

“The death dumps, otherwise known as chemical trails, are being dropped and sprayed throughout the United States and England, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Europe. I have personally seen them not only in the United States, but in Mexico and in Canada. Birds are dying around the world. Fish are dying by the hundreds of thousands around the world.

This is genocide. This is poison. This is murder by the United Nations. This element within our society that is doing this must be stopped. I happen to know of two of the locations where the airplanes are that dump this crap on us. Four of the planes are out of the Air National Guard in Lincoln, Nebraska. And, the other planes are out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I personally have observed the planes that were standing still in Nebraska – Lincoln, Nebraska – at the Air National Guard. They have no markings on them. They are huge, bomber-like airplanes with no markings. This is a crime: a crime against humanity, a crime against America, a crime against the citizens of this great country. The must be stopped.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH CONGRESS? This has an affect on their population, and their people, and their friends, and their relatives, and themselves. What’s wrong with them? What’s wrong with the pilots who are flying these airplanes and dumping this crap, this poison, on their own families? Somebody has to do something about it. Somebody in Congress has to step forward and stop it now. Thank you. I’m Ted Gunderson.” For more details, visithttp://www.aircrap.org.
