Barack Obama is a liar. In this instructive video, the CATO Institute deconstructs the President and his misstatements, exaggerations and out right lies.
Now is the time for action! I have been fighting hard for freedom for over forty years and I can truly say that I have never seen anything like what we have witnessed over the past several months on this campaign. But, then again, this country hasn’t seen a candidate like Herman Cain: a man of the people who knows the merits of hard work; a man who speaks to you rather than at you; a man who is completely focused on solutions rather than rhetoric.
Please watch the following video below and then go HERE and sign up to get involved.
Together, we can put the United back in the United States of America! Together, we can elect Herman Cain as President of the United States and truly ignite a Renewal in the USA!
Rhetoric and propaganda. Games and mockery. Welcome to the Obama years.
According to an email sent out tonight, our President and his supporters are mocking those trying to come up with solutions for this country, by asking people to tune in to tonight’s conservative debate for a good laugh – turn it into a game even. Instead of encouraging people to be mindful with the money they have in this volatile economy, President Obama’s people ask you to donate $5 to his campaign every time a political buzzword is used.
Not only is this arrogant, but to be honest, it’s reminiscent of the same old hard-headed bullying of beltway politicians. It is a move pulled to degrade the ideas of candidates before hearing them, and to trick money and future votes out of a society that should be concerned about saving their money, not putting it toward false HOPE.
This inconsiderate move is nothing more than what we should come to expect from the President – a man who, until July of this year, THREE YEARS into his Presidency, failed to draft a single page of debt-solving legislation for our Congress; a man who daily gives speeches around this country blaming conservatives for stalling his job-creation bill, one which his own party members in the Senate have openly stated is unfit and irresponsible; a man who was behind a federal bailout that gave $500 billion dollars to 800 corporate firms, who now has the audacity to pledge allegiance with those spending their lives in the streets in protest against such government intervention.
Think back to 2008. It was hope and regulation President Obama ran on. It was bipartisanship and an end to war. Yet somehow we are three years removed from such speeches and our economy is worse off, are troops still aren’t home and the leadership in the White House can only make fun of those trying to come up with solutions to improve our country’s morale.
A reminder to President Obama and his administration – you ran for this position. You wanted to become President of the United States of America. After three years in office, how and why are there still excuses? This was the job you wanted! If you care about the country, do your job better or let someone fill the position who will.
It is now the Obama Administration, not conservatives, who are the beltway game players and rough-neck politicians. Those who dare to oppose them are targeted with mudslinging and rhetoric. Herman Cain leads a group of conservatives who are renewed, modern, and ready to lead now!
Conservatives are straight-forward, tough – we will state facts and pitch our plans, and if the plans need work, we will continue to craft them until they are suitable for the American people. Conservatives are problem solvers – we acknowledge the hardships currently plaguing our country and spend every moment on this campaign working towards solutions based strategies to solve problems. Conservatives are careful and detailed – we are putting together specific, efficient, effective plans that can immediately apply to our limping economy.
Last night, Herman Cain dominated the FOX News/ Google/ Republican Party of Florida debate. Whether it was detailing his 9-9-9 Plan or sharing the touching story of his survival of stage IV cancer, Herman captivated the audience both at the debate and at home.
The pundits agreed. Check out what they’re saying:
Erick Erickson:“The winner is Herman Cain. The audience loved him… Cain’s answers really were out of the park awesome. He provided the most uplifting moments and the most memorable lines, with substance included.”
Michelle Malkin: “Herman Cain’s passion and personality really stood out… his personal story,
business experience, humor, and faith in the American dream really do
add a grass-roots Tea Party flavor to an otherwise bland establishment
field.” Malkin also named Herman the winner of the debate. Dick Morris, on Twitter: “#gopdebate#tcot#hannity Cain: great answer on Obamacare. Emphasis on rapidity is key. Really good answer”
“#gopdebate#tcot#hannity Cain: great answer on Obamacare. Emphasis on rapidity is key. Really good answer.”
This isn’t the first debate where Herman Cain excelled. In 1994, Herman Cain debated President Clinton in a live, nationally-televised town hall about his Hillarycare proposal. In an eight minute exchange, Herman Cain explained how President Clinton’s attempts at a government overhaul would hurt job creators and their employees. Shortly after the exchange, Hillarycare was dead in the water and Newsweek named Herman Cain the primary saboteur of the legislation. You can watch the video here.
As a private citizen, Herman Cain stood up to a popular sitting president and dismantled his disastrous legislation in front of the entire world. Herman stood to gain nothing politically, and yet, he stood for his principles. Now, we are faced with the jobs-killing, liberty-destroying law known as Obamacare. We must select a nominee with the courage and convictions to stand up to President Obama in the debates and, once again, tell the world how government-run health care could destroy patient choice and our free market system.
Repealing Obamacare is a personal fight for Herman. In last night’s debate, Herman explained overcoming stage IV cancer of the liver and colon, and how patient choice and access to care saved his life:
“I said I would be dead under Obamacare is
because my cancer was detected in March of 2006. From March 2006 all the
way to the end of 2006, for that number of months, I was able to get
the necessary CAT scan tests, go to
the necessary doctors, get a second opinion, get chemotherapy, get
surgery, recuperate from surgery, get more chemotherapy in a span of
nine months. If we had been under Obamacare and a bureaucrat was trying
to tell me when I could get that CAT scan, that
would have delayed my treatment.
Heritage’s experts watched President Barack Obama’s jobs speech delivered to a joint session of Congress. Here are some of their immediate reactions:
Jobs for Teachers?
In his remarks tonight, President Obama argued that his jobs proposal would create more jobs for teachers. He went as far as to say laying off teachers…”has to stop”.
But since 1970, student enrollment in public elementary and secondary schools has increased just 7 percent, while public elementary and secondary staff hires have increased 83 percent. Moreover, in the 1950′s, there were approximately 2.36 teachers for every non-teacher in a school district. Today, in our nation’s school systems, that ratio is closer to 1 to 1. So every teacher in the classroom has an administrative counterpart in your local public school district. That is a tremendous strain on state budgets. But it is also a huge boon the education unions.
President Obama’s call to spend more precious taxpayer dollars to “prevent teacher layoffs” may do more to inflate schools’ non-teaching rosters than to retain teachers.
On a per-pupil basis, federal spending on education has nearly tripled since the 1970′s. And those who have benefited the most from this profligacy aren’t the children sitting in the nation’s classrooms. No, the increase in federal education spending (and commensurate increase in Washington’s involvement in local schools) hasn’t led to improvements in academic achievement, to increased graduation rates, or even to a narrowing of the achievement gap. It hasn’t served to improve outcomes for children, but it has propped-up the public education jobs program that too often aims to meet the needs of the adults in the system, not the children it was designed to educate.

A Puzzling Plan to Allow Refinancing of Mortgages
One of the more puzzling parts of the President’s plan promises to allow more Americans to refinance their mortgages, but provides no details about how. The President promises that with refinancing, families could save about $2,000 a year, but like similar past promises few homeowners are likely to see those savings.
Briefing papers released by the White House say that the economic team will “work with” Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the regulator that runs them since both effectively failed three years ago, and “industry leaders” to make the 2009 Housing Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) more effective.
This means that the White House still has no idea how to do this. HARP, which was supposed to help between 4 and 5 million homeowners who owe more than their property is worth, and several other attempts to help under water homeowners have all been resounding failures.
In theory, refinancing at today’s record low mortgage rates is a good idea that would reduce monthly mortgage payments for those whose mortgages are refinanced. This would especially benefit homeowners who have paid their mortgage on time, but still owe more than the house is worth. These homeowners would be more likely to stay in the house.
However, even a well planned refinancing program would still be slow and complex. And sadly, there is no sign that the Administration has figured out how to successfully structure such a program.
Mortgages are both made and refinanced one at a time.
Tonight, Herman Cain participated in the NBC/ Politico Republican presidential candidate debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Despite receiving only five questions in the 1 hour and 45 minute debate, Mr. Cain was widely-regarded as a top performer of the evening.
During his first question regarding the crippled economic condition of America, Cain explained his “9-9-9″ economic plan that would establish a 9 percent tax on personal income, a 9 percent tax on corporate income and a 9 percent tax on sales.
“If 10 percent is good enough for God, then 9 percent is good enough for government,” Cain said.
During his second question regarding the constitutionality of Obamacare’s individual mandate, Cain outlined his role in the defeat of President Clinton’s attempt at a government overhaul of the health care industry, also known as “Hillarycare.” In 1994, Newsweek named Cain the primary “saboteur” of the proposal after Cain challenged President Clinton on the effects on businesses and their employees should the legislation pass. Click here to see the exchange that defeated Hillarycare.
“The individual mandate is absolutely unconstitutional,” Cain said, responding to both Obamacare and Governor Romney’s health care law of Massachusetts.
Mr. Cain also discussed reforming Social Security to move from an “entitlement system to an empowerment system,” as well as the need for immigration reform that secures our borders, enforces current laws, promotes the path to citizenship and empowers the states.
If you believe that Herman Cain won the debate tonight, or if you simply believe that Herman Cain is the leader our country needs to return to the American Exceptionalism so deeply understood by President Reagan, please consider donating to our campaign.
Now, more than ever, we need someone like Herman Cain: a leader who’s balanced budgets, created jobs for 40 years and who understands the greatness of America. We might not have the war chests of career politicians, but we do have the integrity of ideas and the support of “we the people” to take back our government! Together, we can elect Herman Cain- a man with the values and vision to restore the American Dream for generations to come.
On Sunday Mitt Romney will address a tea party rally in Concord, New Hampshire. Romney had previously ignored the movement, yet now that he is slipping in the polls, Romney suddenly sees that he needs the tea party vote. It’s an opportunistic “photo-op” by the kind of establishment politician the tea party movement rose up against.
If we let ourselves be used as pawns to provide cover for the establishment, then what is the point of having the tea party?
The tea party movement is not only a reaction to the big government policies of President Obama and the Democrats who ran Congress from 2006-2008. It is also a reaction to the disappointment and frustration with big government Republicans like Romney, who ran the country too much like the Democrats for too many years.
This movement is not about supporting any Republican, it’s about supporting tea party principles.
To put it another way, we support free markets, constitutionally limited government, and fiscal responsibility and we oppose politicians from both parties who do not.
Romney does not, so we cannot support him lecturing real tea partiers about the issues that animate this movement.
A few highlights from Romney’s record show just how unfriendly he has been over the years to the ideas the tea party holds dear:
-Romney supports TARP.
-Romney led the fight for and implemented health care reform almost identical to ObamaCare in Massachusetts.
-Romney supports cap-and-trade “on a global basis”.
-Romney says there’s nothing wrong with companies asking for bailouts.
-Romney supports reappointing Ben Bernanke to chairman of the Federal Reserve.
And that’s just the beginning of his anti-Tea Party record. Read More >>

The Miami Herald described Herman’s reception at the Republican National Hispanic Association in this article in the following light:
“Romney was enthusiastically received, but not nearly as much as underdog Republican candidate Herman Cain, who spoke several hours later and drew repeated standing ovations.”
Coming up…

When you were little, your mom used to tell you, “Actions speak louder than words.” In a sound-byte world of political punditry and over-promises, it seems all too rare for a leader to live by this motto. But Herman Cain is a different kind of leader.
Herman visits with the mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat.
While many pledge their support for Israel, very few Republican presidential candidates have been to the Holy Land to see firsthand the joys and trials of our best ally in the Middle East. But Herman Cain is a different kind of leader. Last week, Herman and his wife of 43 years, Gloria, embarked on a Christian pilgrimage throughout Israel. Together, they toured holy sites, explored Jewish traditions and met with political and business leaders.
Though our nations are separated by an ocean and thousands of miles, the United States and Israel share common values and, sadly, a common enemy in terrorism. During his fact-finding mission, Herman saw first-hand the real and present dangers of life in the Holy Land and the necessity for a renewed and meaningful relationship with Israel.
Herman gazes upon the Israeli landscape.
Unfortunately, President Obama and many other politicians have abandoned our friends in Israel in exchange for political gain. They have asked Israel to forsake its sovereignty and concede to its enemies more and more with each passing year. Do they not understand the importance of this relationship or do they simply not care?
Herman Cain is a different kind of leader. As Herman says, he does not stand behind Israel. He stands for and shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel. In a time when many are too weak to even speak up, Herman takes bold action.
Isn’t it time for a real leader we know we can trust to simply do the right thing? After all, if we believe actions speak louder than words, then Herman Cain deserves our support. Show him that you, too, believe actions speak louder than words. Contribute generously to a man whose morality and resolve do not change with the political tides.
As always, thank you for your prayers, support and generosity. Together, we can elect a different kind of leader— a real leader— whose values we share and whose vision we trust.
It’s available for download so I downloaded the PDF, supposedly a scan of his real Birth Certificate. I opened the PDF in Photoshop and lo and behold, the PDF has a background image, an image of someone else’s Birth Certificate with their info scrubbed out. In other words, this is the image Obama’s Photoshop artists used as a starting point for creating his fake Birth Certificate.
Someone please explain how this can be anything but a fake because I’m quite frankly freaking out. This is bad, very, very bad.
For decades, this nation has been held hostage by countries that do not like us. Over federal regulation has created a wall between our God given natural energy resources and energy producers. We must tear down this wall! The "Made in America" energy plan will make this country energy independent, and we can do it in 9 years! www.cainconnections.com
